I woke up on September 23 to a red world. A giant dust storm, generated in the Australian outback due to continued drought, had covered much of New South Wales. The eerie blanket of red dust was most prominent as the sun was rising over Sydney. I took this picture in Victoria Park on my way to the University of Sydney.
