Students stopping to inspect an outcrop on the Permian Reef Trail, Guadalupe Mountains, Texas. The students were truly interested in the fascinating types of rocks and fossils encountered along the trail. The chance to reinforce classroom learning through field trips is immensely important, particularly in Geology.
