Los Glaciares National Park is probably most well known for its famous glacier, Perito Moreno. We visited the park at the beginning of fall and the tops of the trees on the mountains surrounding the glacier had just begun to change colors. Through the windows of the bus it looked as though the mountains were bleeding. With global warming the glacier has been shrinking year after year. Even without the spectacular view of the glacier the park still offers rather pristine views of a virtually untouched environment.
